TEHRAN (IQNA) – Copies of the Quran with colored pages are among the items displayed at the Books Section of the Tehran International Quran Exhibition.

They have been presented at the pavilion of Syria’s Dar-ul-Jalis Publications.

In some of the copies, each five Juzes (part) of have pages with a specific color.

There is also a Quran copy in which different subjects have been printed in different colors.

Dar-ul-Qalam is another publication from Syria whose pavilion has showcased Quranic works.

One of them is a thematic interpretation of the Holy Book.

Another one, entitled "Mus’haf al-Qira’at” features the main Quran recitation styles.

On display in this pavilion are also Quran translations in English and German and several other Quran exegeses.

The pavilion of Lebanon’s Imjad Publication has presented copies of the Quran and Mafatih al-Jinan with exquisite wooden covers.

Turkish publishers are also participating at the exhibition.

A large copy of the Holy Quran in Kufic script is on show at the pavilion of Hizmat Publication from Turkey.

Weighing about 16 kilograms, it is the printed copy of the first Quran in Kufic script, which is kept in a museum in Istanbul.

The pavilion has also displayed other rare copies of the Quran and Quranic calligraphy works by prominent Turkish calligraphers.

The 25th edition of the Tehran International Quran Exhibition kicked off on May 8 at the Iranian capital city’s Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla.

The exhibition, whose motto is "Quran, Ethics and Life”, will be underway until June 16.
