TEHRAN (IQNA) – A delegation of female Quranic, religious and cultural activists of Iraq’s Zainabiyat Institute visited the International Quran News Agency (IQNA) on Monday.

The delegation toured different sections of the news agency and learned about its activities, strategies and approaches in its news production and dissemination.

During the visit, Um Jafar Saedi, an official with the Zainabiyat Institute, talked about the institute’s activities.

She said it is a cultural institute affiliated to Iraq’s Hezbollah Battalions and has a Quranic department.

The department has launched four Quranic centers, including al-Noor al-Mubin center, in Baghdad for girls and women, she noted.

According to Saedi, the centers work in the field of teaching Quran memorization and recitation.

The institute also cooperates with other Shia and Sunni Quranic institutes in Iraq in holding Quranic events, including competitions and conferences, she added.

Saedi further voiced the institute’s willingness to benefit from IQNA’s experiences in different Quranic fields.
