Leader Attends Dust Cleaning Ritual at Imam Reza (AS) Shrine in Mashhad

TEHRAN (IQNA) – In a ceremony attended by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei on Thursday, the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), the 8th Shia Imam, was dust cleaned.

A number of senior clerics, including grand sources of emulation Ayatollahs Nasser Makarem Shirazi and Vahid Khorasani, were also present at the ritual, which is annually held in the lunar Hijri month of Dhul Qa’ada in Mashhad, northeast Iran.
