Quran Interpretation in Amazigh Language to Be Published in Algeria

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An interpretation of the Holy Quran in the Amazigh languages will be released in Algeria in the near future.

 

According to an-Nahar website, the Nama Quranic Society will publish 6,000 copies of the Quran exegesis.

The Quranic work has been A group of scholars, linguists and Quran interpreters.

The 6,000 copies are planned to be distributed in Algeria and a number of other countries in North Africa and Europe.

The distribution will begin in a ceremony with the participation of Awqaf Minister

Algeria is a Muslim-majority country in North Africa. Some 98 percent of the country’s population follow Islam.

The Amazigh language is indigenous to North Africa. It is spoken by large populations in Algeria and Morocco, and by smaller populations in Libya, Tunisia, and northern Mali.
