According to Maan news agency, Kuwait’s Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah said the Arab country has no intention of normalizing relations with Israel.
Kuwait’s stance in opposition to establishing ties with Tel Aviv is clear and known, he said.
Jarallah also said Kuwait deplores global inattention to the issue of Palestine and seeks to unite views among Persian Gulf countries about the issue.
Most Arab countries do not recognize Israel but some of them have recently increased backchannel cooperation with Israel in recent years.
Among Arab countries, Israel has diplomatic relations only with Egypt and Jordan.
