"Taziyeh (religious play) ,Iran's Spiritual Heritage" Conference to be Held in Tehran

"Taziyeh(religious play) ,Iran's Spiritual Heritage" conference will be held in Tehran's Golestan palace , concurrent with the mourning ceremonies of the sacred month of Muharram.

According to public relations department of Iran's Tourism and Cultural Heritage Organization, cultural NGOs took the initiative of holding the first such conference, which will be sponsored by cultural deputy of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Organization.
Mourning Symbols in cultural fields of Iran, Islamic and Iranian symbol emanated from Ashura culture, and diversity of Ashura ceremonies in Iranian cities and towns are among the topics to be discussed at the three-day event.

The conference is scheduled for January 14-16, which falls on the peak of Ashura mourning ceremonies.

It is worthy of mentioning that photo exhibition and Ashura clips festival will be heldat the sideline of the conference .
