-- The Isra Culture and Research Institute was founded in 1993 in the holy city of Qom to compile and publish Ayatollah Javadi Amoli’s works.
There are different groups of scholars working to compile and do research on Ayatollah Javadi Amoli’s works. They specialize in Quran interpretation, mysticism, ethics, Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), and philosophy.
So far over 50 titles by Ayatollah Javadi Amoli have been published by the institute, which are mainly in the following categories:
A) Quran Interpretation
The Tasnim Interpretation of the Holy Quran, in 16 volumes, aims to serve scholars and thinkers as it discusses verses of the holy Quran in details and provides references to various scientific and scholarly sources.
The Thematic Interpretation of the Holy Quran, on the other hand, is for the general reader. Published in 15 volumes, it contains references to the prophet’s Seera (tradition), as well as issues related to faith and ethics.

B) Philosophy
Rahiq Makhtum (exposition of al-Asfar by Mulla Sadra). 10 volumes of this 35-volume book have been published so far.

C) Discourse
Several books have been compiled and published in this category including: “Religion in Mirror of Cognizance”, “Relation between Religion and the World”, and “Velayat-e Faqih (the Rule of the Jurisprudent)”.
D) Fiqh (jurisprudence)
“The Book of Hajj, “the Book of Salat (prayer)” and “the Book of Khums” are among the titles in this category.

E) Religious Culture
Books in this category are for the general reader and aim to promote the religious culture in society.

The Isra Culture and Research Institute has also embarked on electronic publishing recently, presenting the books in CDs and DVDs and creating a databank containing texts, photos and audio and video materials.
