Grand Source of Emulation Commemorated

-- A ceremony was held on September 21, in the holy city of Qom to commemorate the late Shia source of emulation grand Ayatollah Borujerdi.

Relatives of the late Ayatollah Borujerdi, seminary scholars, officials of Qom Province, and sources of emulation grand Ayatollahs Shobeiri Zanjani, Nuri Hamedani, Sobhani, Makarem Shirazi, Alavi Gorgani, and Safi Golpayegani were present at the ceremony, which was organized by the Custodianship of the holy shrine of Hazrat Masumeh (SA).
It started with recitation of verses from the holy Quran by Hossein Yazdanpanah followed by eulogies and then a speech by Hojat-ol-Islam Fateminia.
Message of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei about grand Ayatollah Borujerdi, which had been issued a few years ago, was also read out at the ceremony.
Grand Ayatollah Borujerdi was the source of emulation in the Shia world from 1947 until his demise in 1961.
