Iran’s Participation to Gazan Film Festival: an Occasion for Religious Values Exchange

Iran’s cultural counselor to Tataristan, Parviz Ghassemi, in a meeting with Iranian delegation assisting Gazan Film Festival said that Iran’s presence was an exceptional opportunity for transferring religious virtues and the message of the Islamic revolution.

According to IQNA, the Iranian team who took part in the 6th Gazan International Islamic Film Festival was invited to Iran’s consulate in Gazan so as to discuss the quality of Iranian artists in the festival with the consul.

Ghassemi took the speech and said, “Iran has participated to the festival since it was formed. Iranian cinema has attracted many fans thanks to its semantic and conceptual approach. The fact that the film entitled «On foot» and directed by Mr. Hassanpour was welcome and appreciated by the audience exemplifies our claim”.

He estimated the distinguished presence of Iranian films in the Islamic capital of Russia as an excellent chance to introduce a pure Islam based on cultural values attributed to the Islamic Republic of Iran’s revolution.

Then the director of «Salomon Throne» and one of the members of the Jury, Shahriar Bohrani, expressed his gratitude to consul on behalf of the team. The names of Iran’s delegation in the festival are as follows :
