“Quran in Islamic and Western Researches” Seminar in Germany
-- A seminar on “Quran in Islamic and Western Researches” was held on February 25 at the meeting hall of the Iran Cultural Center in Germany.
According to Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the program was one in a series of seminars planned on “religion and culture”.
Historical studies on the holy Quran and various approaches taken by Western scholars and Muslim intellectuals towards the Divine Book were the themes discussed at the program.
A summary of Corpus Coranicum research project of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities underway since 2007 was also presented at the seminar.
The discussions were made in German language with a simultaneous translation in Persian.
