“Respect to Human Rights in Imam Hussein’s (AS) Way of Life” Seminar in Iraq

A seminar on “respect to human rights Imam Hussein's (AS) way of life” will be held today, November 30, at the Center for the Middle East Development and Law Studies in Bagdad, Iraq.
According to sotaliraq website, the seminar has been planned in line with periodical sessions of the center to be held with the presence of researchers, cultural figures and experts of law on the occasion of Muharram month at the conference hall of the center.
It will begin from 2 pm. local time with speeches by Sheikh Farhan Al-Sa’edi, lecturer of Najaf Seminary School who will talk about “freedom and respect to human rights in view of Imam Hussein (AS)”.
“Hussein, the martyr; civilizational approach”, “Imam Hussein (AS) and the plan for training humans” and “Imam Hussein (AS) and his mission” will be the other themes of the seminar.
Directed by Ghasem Al-‘Ubudi, the center is one of the civil organizations of the country, which has held various periodical sessions on scientific, cultural, literary and legal issues.
Educational workshops for journalists and human rights activists have also been planned by the center.
