Imam Ali (AS) TV Channel to Be Launched in Najaf

Member of the Supreme Council of Islamic Radios and Televisions Union announced that the Imam Ali (AS) TV network will be launched in 6 months in the holy city of Najaf.
According to Hawza news center, Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Hamid Husseini said that the network will introduce the character of Imam Ali (AS) to the world and disseminate Ahl-ul-Bayt’s (AS) teachings.
“It will screen speeches, movies and documentaries about the life and character of the first Imam (AS) as well as live programs from the holy shrine of Imam Ali (AS) in Najaf,” he noted.
Citing the presence of various Iranian TV studios in Najaf and the city officials' cooperation with Iranian media in the holy month of Ramadan and Muharram, he noted that there is no problem in setting up the TV network.
He further stressed that by promoting Imam Ali’s (AS) virtues, the network aims to take steps in line with strengthening Muslims’ unity.
