Muharram Mourning Ceremonies in Presence of Imam Khamenei

Like previous years, during Muharram, the first lunar Hijri calendar month, ceremonies are held in presence of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei to mourn the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS) and his faithful companions.
According to the website of the Office for Preservation and Publication of Imam Khamenei’s Works, this year’s mourning ceremonies start after the Maghrib and Isha prayers from Thursday, November 22 (7th day of Muharram) and continue every night until Monday, November 26 (11th day of Muharram).
They are held at Imam Khomeini (RA) Hosseiniyeh (religious center) located on Felestin Street in Tehran, according to the following schedule:
First Night: Thursday, Muharram 7th (November 22): Recitation of Tawassul Supplication by Mehdi Samawati; Speech by Hojat-ol-Islam Sediqi; Elegy Recitation by Meysam Motiei
Second Night: Friday, Muharram 8th (November 23): Recitation of Tawassul Supplication by Morteza Taheri; Speech by Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Ahmad Khatami; Elegy Recitation by Mahmoud Karimi
Third Night: Saturday, Muharram 9th (November 24): Recitation of Tawassul Supplication by Mansour Nourayi; Speech by Hojat-ol-Islam Panahiyan; Elegy Recitation by Saeed Haddadian
Fourth Night: Sunday, Muharram 10th (November 25): Recitation of Tawassul Supplication by Seyyed Mohammad Mousavi; Speech by Hojat-ol-Islam Rafiei; Elegy Recitation by Mohammad Reza Taheri
Fifth Night: Monday, Muharram 11th (November 26): Recitation of Tawassul Supplication by Sadeq Ahangaran; Speech by Hojat-ol-Islam Aali; Elegy Recitation by Mehdi Salahshour
All the devotees of the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) have been invited to take part in the programs.
