Islamic, Arab Countries Urged to Take a United Stance against Israel
Supreme Leader’s representative in Markazi province said it is time that Arab and Islamic countries adopted a united stance against the Zionist regime and defended the Palestinian resistance.
Speaking to IQNA, Ayatollah Qorbanali Dorri Najafabadi pointed to inhumane crimes of the Zionisty regime and its policy of ethnic cleansing, saying that Muslim countries should confront the regime.
He referred to the recent Gaza offensive and said in the month of Muharram, the month in which blood conquered the sword, the Zionist criminals once again imposed an unfair war against the oppressed people of Palestine and the defenseless people of Gaza.
“In this war in which the Zionist aggressors employed all means to destroy Gaza, the international powers and the Arab reactionaries were also accomplice in one way or another,” he underlined.
Ayatollah Dorri Najafabadi praised the people of Gaza who made great sacrifices, the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas and the Islamic Jihad for resisting against any concession to the Zionists and powerfully responding to the Zionist aggression by targeting the occupying regime’s centers.
He regretted that the White House endorses the Zionists’ crimes and criticized the silence of international organizations, the Arab League and the so-called advocates of human rights.
Are the killing of women and children, destruction of Palestinians’ houses and seven years of Gaza siege not enough for international organizations and Arab and Muslim countries to stand up against the Zionist regime’s aggressions and cut their political and economic ties with the barbaric and fake regime of Israel? he asked.
Friday prayer leader of Arak underlined that the only way for confronting the criminal regime of Israel is resistance and support for the oppressed people of Palestine and the holy city of Quds.
He further quoted verse 227 of Surah Al-Shu’ara “And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned,”, praying that God help Islam and Muslims.
