Ramadan Programs for Shia Muslims in the Philippines
Imamiyah Association of Shia Muslims in the Philippines has organized various programs on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
According to IQNA’s branch in East Asia, the officially registered association is actively involved in training preachers in order to disseminate the principles of Shia school of thought.
Sessions for reading Komeil Supplication and meetings at Muslim region of Kiapur to discuss Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and his household as well as the virtues of the holy month of Ramadan are also held by the association.
Activities of the association have been very influential among the people of the region. It also plans to show a movie of Imam Hussein’s (AS) life during the month of Muharram.
