Qatar Quran Memorization Centers to Be Developed

TEHRAN (IQNA) - Qatar’s Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs ordered the formation of a Committee for Development of Quran Memorization Centers in the country.

 According to Al-Sharq website, the committee will be formed in line with the ministry’s objectives to enhance the function of Quran memorization centers and help to raise Quranic, intelligent and faithful generations.

Ghaith bin Mubarak Al Kuwari, the minister, ordered that the committee should propose approaches to develop the function of the centers, promote evaluation of the Quranic activities in public and local Quran memorization centers and facilitate application of modern technologies by the centers.
The ministry has supported Quran memorization centers that play a role in raising successful Quranic generations and enhancing the Quran memorization tradition in the society, the report said.
