Sudan’s Delegation to Attend Int’l Quran Competition in Egypt

TEHRAN (IQNA) - A Sudanese delegation will be sent to Cairo to learn about the organization process of the 22nd edition of Egypt's international Quran competition.


According to vetogate.com, this edition of the contest will be held from April 18 to 23.

The Quranic event will be organized under the patronage of Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi, President of Egypt.

Learning about Egypt’s experiences in application of new technologies for evaluation and judgment in Quran competitions is the main objective of the delegation.

The Sudanese group comprises members of the organizing committee of Khartoum Int’l Holy Quran Award.

Muhammad Al-Zain Mabrouk, director of the Quran competition and Ahmad Hashim Ahmad Hashim, director of the technical section of competition are some members of the group.

The 21st edition of Egypt’s international Quran competition was held in the Nasr District of Cairo, Egypt’s capital city, in April 2014.

Quran reciters and memorizers from 71 countries participated in the Quranic event last year.
