It was organized by the Islam Party of the Republic of Azerbaijan ahead of Mab’ath (anniversary of the appointment of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to prophethood) on Thursday, maide.az website reported.
Officials from the party were among those who addressed the conference, which was also attended by religious scholars and university professors.
The speakers congratulated all Muslims on the auspicious occasion and elaborated on the importance of Mab’ath in Islam and its significance for humanity.
Mab’ath, which falls on the 27th of Rajab in the
lunar Hijri calendar, is annually celebrated by Muslims all over the world.
