Art, A Means for Conveying Quranic Messages: Official
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iranian Culture and Islamic Guidance Ministry’s Quran and Etrat Deputy described using arts as a good means for conveying Quranic messages and concepts.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Quran and Etrat Week Arts and Cultural Festival, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Reza Heshmati added that using poetry, drama, and other forms of arts help to attract people and that is why arts is a way for promote ng Quranic concepts.
Noting that the Quran and Etrat deputy of the culture ministry aims to foster understating of the Quran and develop the Quranic culture, the official called on scholars, Quran interpreters and artists to help the deputy on that path.
The Arts and Cultural Festival of the Quran and Etrat Week was held in Birjand, South Khorasan province.
Winners of the 28 categories of the festival’s competition section were awarded at the closing ceremony on Monday night.
