The Strategic Council of Quranic Activities, affiliated to the Cultural and Educational Committee of Iran’s Arbaeen Headquarters will hold the ceremony.

A number of Quranic and religious officials, including Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammadi, deputy of the Quranic Culture Development Council, and Sarabi, deputy of the country’s Supreme Quran Council, will be present at the event.

The Quran activists recited the Quran at the programs held for pilgrims marching toward Karbala, Iraq, during Arbaeen rituals.

Every year, Shia Muslims from Iraq and other countries march to the holy city of Karbala to commemorate Arbaeen (the 40th day after the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), his household and his companions on Ashura).
