The contest has been organized by the Arab country’s ministry of education, the Oman daily reported.
Al-Shamoukh Non-Prophet School hosted the final stage of the contest.
It was aimed at encouraging those with visual impairments to learn the Quran by heart and contemplate the Quranic teachings.
The contenders competed in four categories of memorization of one, two, three and five Juzes (parts) of the Holy Book.
Twenty five students had attended the first stage and nine made it to the final round.
The top contestants will take part in a nationwide Quran competition slated for April.
