Quran Teachers Training Course Starts in Indonesia
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 12th edition of a training course for teachers of the Holy Quran began in the Indonesian capital city of Jakarta.
The course has been organized by the Jakarta branch of the Dar-al-Quran
center affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy
shrine.
According to dar-alquran.org website, the course is being held for men.
Muntadhar al-Mansouri, an official with the center, said the Quran teachers training course includes lessons on theoretical and practical aspects of recitation and memorization of the Quran.
He said memorization of one Juz (part) of the Quran and lessons on Tawasheeh and Ibtihal (different kinds of religious songs) are also part of the program.
The 12th edition of the Quranic course will run for ten days.
Some 270 Quran teachers, both men and women, from different parts of Indonesia have taken part in the previous editions of the course.
