Representatives of 50 countries are attending the international event, underway at Korsten Hotel.
The three-day event includes a gathering of young traders from Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries, a forum on educational needs in Islamic finance, and seminars on Halal standards and Halal tourism.
The "Russia Halal Expo” featuring Halal products was launched in Kazan on the sidelines of the conference.
A delegation from Iran’s Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR) is among the delegations attending the international conference.
It is led by Hamid Saber Farzam, head of the Iranian Academics’ Quranic Activities Organization.
The KazanSummit 2017 is aimed at strengthening Russia’s
economic, scientific, social and cultural ties with OIC member states.
