Abbas Nazarirad told IQNA that the foreign guests will be from countries like Tunisia, Poland, Algeria, Kenya, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Iraq and Senegal.
He said Quran researchers, scholars, religious officials and media officials from around the Muslim world will be among them.
The Quran exhibition kicked off on Monday but the international section will begin in a few days.
According to Nazarirad, the section will be launched on Saturday, June 10, and will last for five days.
He said the foreign guests have been selected and invited by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO).
During their stay in Iran, he said, they will visit a number of the country’s cultural and scholarly centers and meet with Iranian cultural, religious and Quranic figures.
He also noted that from among 297 publishers attending this year’s exhibition, 16 publishers are from other countries such as Turkey, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.
With the motto of "Quran, Ethics and Life”, the 25th Tehran International Quran Exhibition will be underway at the Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall) until June 16.
