Al-Kawthar’s Special Programs during Karamat Festival
According to the international relations office of the TV channel, the first program of the series was aired on the first night of the festival on July 25, concurrent with the birthday anniversary of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA).
In the program, Kan’aneh Mustafa, a religious expert, clarified various aspects of the life of Imam Reza’s (AS) sister.
The 55-minute program was aired live from 10 to 11 p.m. local time from the holy city of Qom.
Thamin-ul Hujaj is the title of another program to be broadcast on the TV from the holy city of Mashhad on the birthday anniversary of the 8th infallible Imam (AS).
Seerah of Imam Reza (AS), discussions on Imamate, introduction of books about the Imam and rituals of pilgrimage are some parts of the program.
The programs will also include interviews with Arabic-speaker pilgrims of the Imam’s holy shrine and their feelings about the Imam (AS).
The Karamat Festival marks the ten days between the birth anniversaries of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) and Imam Reza (AS), the daughter and son of the 7th Shia Imam.
Tuesday was the first day of the lunar Hijri month of Dhul Qaada, which marks the birthday anniversary of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA).
Imam Reza (AS) birthday anniversary will be celebrated on the 11th day of Dhul Qaada, which falls on August 4 this year.
