Gunmen attack Quran radio in Libya’s capital

The gunmen broke into the FM radio station in the afternoon, handcuffed the staff, tied their feet together and started beating them.

They also threatened the staff with murder, the radio station reported on its official Facebook page.

The reason behind the attack remains unknown. The radio is far away from the country’s political conflict as it only broadcasts Quran recitations.
