Forum in Damascus to Discuss Seerah of Imam Reza (AS)
According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the program has been planned on the occasion of the birthday anniversary of the 8th infallible Imam (AS).
Eminent religious, cultural and academic figures will participate in the scholarly forum.
It will be addressed by Soheil Zakar, a professor of history at the University of Damascus, Sheikh Ma’mum Rahmah, the Friday prayer leader and preacher of Umawi Mosque of the city and Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Abdullah Nedham, a Syrian Shia scholar.
An exhibition of artworks and photos featuring Karamat ten-day festival will also be held on the sidelines of the forum.
The Karamat Festival marks the ten days between the birth anniversaries of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) and Imam Reza (AS), the daughter and son of the 7th Shia Imam.
