Non-Governmental Body to Be Tasked with Holding Quran Exhibition

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iran’s minister of culture and Islamic guidance said a non-governmental body will be given the responsibility of organizing the International Quran Exhibition in Tehran next year.

Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri said the Union of Quranic Institutes will hold the next edition of the international Quranic event.

He also noted that all provinces of the country will hold a Quran exhibition as of next year.

The Tehran International Quran Exhibition is annually mounted in the Iranian capital city during the holy month of Ramadan.

The culture ministry’s Quran and Etrat Deputy has organized the expo in the past few years.

Showcasing the latest Quranic achievements and products aimed at developing the Quranic culture, the exhibition seeks to promote the Quran in society and help people get more aquatinted with the Holy Book.

This year, the 25^th edition of the expo was held at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall) for 18 days in June.
