According to Al-Watan newspaper, it has been organized by the Arab country’s Al-Manabir Al-Qurania Society.
Sa’eed Al-Asbahi, the secretary of the society, said that the educational program began on August 1 and will continue until August 25.
Mulla Rashid Al-Saqar Mosque in Sa’d Al-Abdullah district hosts the Quranic course.
The participants learn Quran memorization, Quranic concepts and grammatical rules of the Arabic language.
He added that the main objective of the program, planned for girls and boys of the region, is to raise a generation based on Quranic values.
Al-Asbahi said the organizers also aim to encourage the children to make the best use of their summer holidays, promote their skills in various aspects, get them acquainted with modern technologies applied in teaching Quran and get the parents involved in educational programs.
He went on to say that skillful teachers and experts in Quran memorization and training methods supervise the course.
