TEHRAN (IQNA) – A memorial service was held in Tehran on Thursday for Mohsen Hojaji who was killed by Daesh (ISIL or ISIS) terrorists last week.
Senior officials including Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammadi
Golpayegani, the head of the Leader’s Office, and commanders of the Islamic
Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Police, IRGC Quds Force, took part in the
commemoration ceremony.
Known as a "martyr of Haram” (one who has been martyred
while defending the Shia holy shrines), Hojaji, a member of the Iranian
advisory support team in Syria, was taken captive by the Daesh Takfiri
terrorist group near the Iraqi border last week and beheaded two days later.
