TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iran’s Payame Noor University plans to organize a conference on interdisciplinary studies of the Quran.

Iranian University to Hold Interdisciplinary Quranic Studies Conference


Slated for February 2018 in Tehran, it is aimed at providing an opportunity for scholars and university students to present their research achievements and share views and ideas in the field of Quranic studies.

Quran and linguistic studies, Quran and educational studies, Quran and psychological studies, Quran and legal studies, Quran and literary studies, and Quran and social and historical studies are some of the themes of the conference.

Papers will be presented in Persian, Arabic and English, according to the organizers.

The deadline for submitting papers is January 26, 2018.

The University of Tehran, Shiraz University, Tarbiat Moddares University, University of Quran and Hadith, and Iranian Society for Quranic Studies and Islamic Culture, are some of the higher education centers that will cooperate in holding the scholarly event.
