Tehran’s Mosalla Hosts Commemoration for Hazrat Ali Asghar (AS)
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer gound) in Tehran hosted one of the many ceremonies held in Iran and other countries on Friday to commemorate Hazrat Ali Asghar (AS).
Every year, on the first Friday of the lunar Hijri month of Muharram, Shia mourners in Iran and other countries commemorate Ali Asghar, the six-month-old son of Imam Hossein (AS), was martyred in Karbala on the Day of Ashura some 1400 years ago.
