Quranic Calligraphy Exhibition Planned in Athens
TEHRNA (IQNA) – An exhibition of Quranic calligraphy and Iranian-Islamic illumination works will be held by the Iranian Cultural Center in Athens, Greece.
According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Ali Mohammad Helmi, Iranian cultural attaché in Greece, discussed the organization of the exhibition in a meeting with head of the national library of Greece.
The meeting was held on October 23 and the two cultural officials also discussed mutual cooperation in other areas.
"Heavenly Art” is the title of the exhibition, which will be held in cooperation with the national library and Benaki Museum of Islamic Art.
A workshop will also be organized on the sidelines of the exhibition by two Iranian artists.
Some 35 artworks will also be put on display in the workshop.
