Iran to Hold ‘Quranic-Islamic Lifestyle’ Workshop in Karachi

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Iranian Cultural Center in Pakistan, in cooperation with Al-Mustafa Seminary in Karachi, will organize a workshop on “Quranic-Islamic lifestyle”.

According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Mohammad Reza Baqeri, in charge of the Iranian Cultural Center discussed the plan for holding the event in a meeting with Hojat-ol-Islam Aqeel Musa, director of the seminary.

Hojat-ol-Islam Musa introduced the activities of the seminary to the Iranian representative and called for the development of cooperation with the cultural center.

The Iranian official, for his part, explained about the activities of the center and stressed the need for mutual cultural-religious cooperation.

He said that one of the objectives of the center is to develop religious-cultural interactions with local institutes and centers in Karachi in order to exchange experiences in educational fields.

He added that the center successfully held some workshops, including a workshop on Quranic Islamic lifestyle for women, in cooperation with one of the women’s cultural-social institutes in the city.

It was held at the Iranian Cultural Center and 60 Pakistani female activists participated in the program.

He said that the center plans to hold the second edition of the workshop for men this year.
