Nabi Al-Rahmah Competition Planned in Syria

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An online competition titled “Nabi Al-Rahmah” (prophet of mercy) will be held by the Iranian Cultural Center in Damascus, Syria.

Iran to Hold Competition on Holy Prophet (PBUH) in Syria


According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the Syrian Ministry of Awqaf (endowments) will cooperate with the center in holding the competition.

"Good Role-Model; Know, Love, Follow” is the motto of the competition, which aims to introduce the noble status and character of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

It will be held in five categories on the occasion of the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on 17th of Rabi’ Al-Awwal, the third month in the Islamic calendar (December 6).

The categories include short stories, Qasida (a form of poetry), calligraphy, short movies and the shortest and most meaningful sentence describing the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Syrian citizens and foreigners residing in Syria can participate in the competition. Winners will be announced and awarded in late December.
