According to al-Ghad website, 20 countries, including Syria, Iran, Egypt, France, and China have attended the event.
It is annually organized by al-Nukhba Cultural-Media Institute to mark the demise anniversary of the Holy prophet of Islam (PBUH).
The program includes different sections such as calligraphy, Quran recitation, photography and Tazhib (illumination).
The Quranic-cultural program will run for a week, according to the organizers.
Friday, the 28th day of the lunar Hijri month of Safar, marked the demise anniversary of the Holy prophet (PBUH) and martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hassan Mujtaba (AS), the second Shia Imam.
