Quran Contemplation Programs during Khartoum Int’l Quran Award
The Quran Society of Sudan has been organizing the events under the title of “Contemplating the Concepts of the Holy Quran”, according to the furqan.sd website.
They are being held in different cities and towns across the country during the international Quranic event.
In these programs, scholars, experts and Quran activists deliver speeches on the concepts of the verses and Surahs of the Holy Quran.
The main round of the Khartoum International Quran Award kicked off in the Sudanese capital on Tuesday.
More than 70 Quran memorizers from 51 countries have gathered in Khartoum to compete for the top prize.
The headquarters of the Quran Society of Sudan in the capital is hosting the international Quranic event.
It will conclude in an awarding ceremony on Saturday night.
