4-Year-Old Girl Comes 2nd in Quran Contest in India

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Mohammad Ameena, aged four, won the second prize of Rs 15,000 in a Quran memorization competitions organized by United Forum for Quranic Studies in Vijayawada, India’s Andhra Pradesh, recently.

 

The united forum has organized the competition for Under 12 boys and girls. Mohammad Ameena participated in the group ‘A’ category (for 3-4 years group) and won the cash prize. 

The Jamat-e- Islami Hind (JIH), Bhimavaram unit organized the prize distribution program at JIH office.

The JIH Town Committee president, Sheikh Imtiaz presented the cash prize cheque for Rs 15,000 to Ameena’s parents.

Speaking on the occasion, Imtiaz said that the united forum was conducting the memorization of Quran over the years to create awareness and interest on the Holy Book among the children.
