Dubai Int’l Quran Award to Wrap Up Tonight
TEHRAN(IQNA) – The 22nd edition of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award will conclude in a ceremony on Sunday night.
Winners will be announced and awarded at the closing ceremony.
It will be attended by a number of UAE officials and Ali Bin Abdul Rahman Al Huzaifi, who has been named the Islamic Personality of the Year by the award organizers.
The competition got underway on the 7th day of the holy month of Ramadan, May 23.
Representatives of 104 countries have taken part in this year’s edition of the contest.
Quran memorizers from Nigeria, Mauritania, the Comoros Island, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Chechnya, Togo and Russia were the last to showcase their Quranic skills in this edition.
Iran’s representative in the competition is teenage Quran memorizer Mohammad Reza Zahedi.
