According to Hojat-ol-Islam Nasser Khodayari, director general of the province’s Culture and Islamic Guidance Department, a total of 384 poems have been submitted to the secretariat of the festival.
He said those writing the poems are from different provinces of the country as well as Turkey, the Republic of Azerbaijan and Iraq.
Hojat-ol-Islam Khodayari added that the festival aims to promote the Razavi culture and develop literary activities related to the teachings and Seerah (lifestyle) of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
The topics of the poems presented at the festival include Hadiths, virtues and Seerah of Imam Reza (AS), his sister Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) and his brother Hazrat Shah Cheragh (AS) he went on to say.
