The panel of judges announced representatives of Yemen, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates and Bosnia and Herzegovina as the first to fourth-rank winners respectively.
Iran’s Quran memorizer Abuzar Karami was not among the top contenders.
As many as 33 Quran activists from different parts of the world took part in the 19th edition of the competition, which had started in Moscow on October 18.
The contest is held annually, every other year either in the category of Quran memorization or recitation.
This year’s category was memorization of the entire Quran.
