Quran Students Celebrate Graduation in Egypt
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A graduation ceremony was organized for 205 girls and boys who have memorized the entire Quran in the Damietta governorate of Egypt.
According to Al-Sharq website, the “Al-Birr wa Al-Taqwa” Association held the program at the Social Solidarity Office of the governorate on November 10.
The ceremony was held with the participation of Manal Awad Mikhail, the governor of Damietta, who awarded 5 of the top students.
Egypt is a country in North Africa with a population of around 96 million.
Muslims account for around 90 percent of the country’s total population.
Quranic activities, including memorization of the Holy Book, are very common in the Arab country.
