Int’l Forum on Teaching Quran to Disabled Planned in Medina

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran in the holy city of Medina, Saudi Arabia, plans to hold an international forum on teaching the Quran to the visually impaired.

 

According to al-Ahram website, “Evaluation of Reality and Future Perspective” is the title of the international program.

Scholars and experts from Saudi Arabia and some other countries will participate at the event to discuss the basics, methods and approaches that can be taken to better serve the disabled groups and particularly teach them the Holy Quran.

The complex will announce the exact date of the forum in the near future.

It has also announced that the publication of the entire Quran in Braille in five volumes has been completed under the supervision of experts in this script.

The complex produces about 10 million copies of the Holy Quran a year. It has so far published 55 different translations of the Divine Book in 39 languages.
