Women Quran Researchers to Be Honored for Serving Quran
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 15th edition of the International Congress of Women Quran Researchers will be held in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad on Thursday.
During the congress, 15 Iranian Quran researchers and 4 from other countries will be honored for their scholarly efforts to serve the Holy Quran.
The Imam Reza (AS) Islamic Teachings Institute and the Cultural Center of Women Quran Researchers will organize the event, whose main theme will be the Quran and Imam Javad (AS).
Some 700 women Quran researchers will take part in the gathering, according to Zakiyeh Abdollahian, an official with the organizing committee.
The congress is annually held in Iran with f Quranic, religious, cultural and political officials in attendance.
