Beirut to Host Resistance Films Week
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Resistance International Film Festival will organize a resistance films week in Beirut, Lebanon, on Monday.
The event will be attended by a number of Iranian and Lebanese filmmakers, cinema activists and cultural and cinema officials.
It is aimed at promoting the culture of resistance through movies.
A number of films and documentaries featuring resistance will be screened at the cultural event.
They include “Abu Ghraib Strait” (The Lost Strait) by Bahram Tavakoli, “Emperor of Hell” by Parviz Sheikhtadi, and Midday Adventures by Mohammad Hossein Mahdavian.
The Resistance International Film Festival has so far organized 47 resistance film weeks in countries like Russia, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Turkey, Finland, Nigeria, India, Syria and Kazakhstan.
