Iranian Cultural Center to Cooperate in Holding Quran Contest in Pakistan

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 4th edition of a nationwide Quran competition in Pakistan will be held with the cooperation of the Iranian Cultural Center in the South Asian country.

 

According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), head of the center Mohammad Reza Kaka recently met with Qari Ikramullah Muhsin, an official with the Sawt al-Qurra al-Alamiya Organization that contributes to holding the competition.

During the meeting, the two sides agreed to cooperation in organizing this year’s event.

It was also agreed that a Quran expert from Iran travel to Islamabad to serve as a member of the competition’s panel of judges.

The top contenders in each category of the contest, memorization and recitation of the Quran, will be dispatched to Iran to attend the annual Quran completion of the Islamic Republic next year.
