200 Quran Teachers Take Quranic Course in Iraq

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The second specialized course on Quranic sciences was held with the participation of 200 male and female Quran teachers in Iraq.

 

According to dar-alquran.org, the Center for Quranic Studies, affiliated to the Dar-ol-Quran of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine, organized the “Imam Hussein (AS)” national Quranic course.

Seyyed Mortaza Jamaluddin, head of the center was the instructor of the course. He said that the main objective of the educational program was to promote the Quranic skills of the teachers.

The participants included Quran teachers from Karbala, Najaf, Baghdad and Babil governorates as well as seminarians from African countries who reside in Karbala.

Top participants will be awarded in a ceremony and qualify to attend the next edition of the course, which will be held on the principles of Quran interpretation.

The 30-week course was held at Khatam-ul-Anbiya Hall of the holy shrine in Karbala.
