The ceremony was held in the city of Safaga in the Red Sea governorate, east of the country, according to Sabaq news website.
The Mustaqbal Watan (future of motherland) political party organized the event and its president Ashraf Rishad was present at the ceremony.
Also present were a large number of people as well as provincial officials.
The students from different age groups have managed to memorize different parts of the Quran.
Exemplary mothers of the governorate were also honored on the sidelines of the ceremony.
