Quran Recitation Licenses Granted in Iraq

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Some 65 male and female Quran students in Kurdistan region of Iraq received Ijazahnamah (license) for Quran recitation.

 

According to al-omah.com, the Quran activists were honored in a ceremony held by Dar-ol-Bayan institute at Sulaymaniyah.

They received the licences to recite the Holy Quran in ‘Hafs an Asim’ style from Tahir Othman Al-Warti, eminent Quran recitation expert in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region.

The number of the youth willing to read and memorize Quran has been rising in the region where many Quran memorization centers have opened in recent years.
