--The Islamic University of Medina will launch a Quranic college for women, dean of the university said.
The Ukaz daily quoted Muhammad Al-Aghla as saying that there are also plans for establishing a college of Islamic studies and Arabic language in the near future.
He said that the Islamic University of Medina aims to promote moderation and culture of dialogue and tolerance through developing higher education.
The Islamic University of Medina was founded in 1961 as a school for higher education specializing in Islamic subjects. Over 30,000 students from various countries have so far graduated from the university.
